Ebben Antoinettanak teljesen igaza van, de meg sincs, mert amikor fasizmus
vagy a kommunizmus eszmei alapjai (hitvallllasa) talalkozott
a politikaval, avagy Iranban Khomeini hitvallasa lett az allamvallas,
ezek mind "inkvizicioba" csucsosodtak ki, jollehet nem igy neveztek azt a
verengzest. Camus gondolata nem konkretan a kozepkori maglyahalalra utalt,
hanem arra a modszerre, ami ebbol a talalkozobol, hazassagbol kijon.
