Temakor: Pogany Jozsef

Pogany Jozsef 1886-ban szuletett Budapesten es 1939-ben halt meg a
Szovjetunioban. 1909-ben bolcseszdoktori oklevelet nyert Budapesten. Belepett
a szocialdemokrata partba es ujsagirokent dolgozott. Tobbek kozott a Vilag, a
Friss Ujsag es a Nepszava munkatarsa lett. 1918-ban A tudas c. szocialista
folyoiratot szerkesztette. A Karolyi-Berinkey idejen allamtitkari rangban
kormanybiztoskent a Katonatanacs elnoke volt. A Tanacskoztarsasag alatt
hadugyi, kulugyi, vegul kozoktatasugyi nepbiztos, a szekesfehervari II.
hadtest parancsnoka, a kommunista part ellenorzo bizottsaganak tagja volt. A
Tanacskoztarsasag bukasa utan Becsbe emigralt, majd Moszkvaban kotott ki.
1922-29 kozott a kommunista Internacionale agitacios es propaganda osztalyan
dolgozott. 1929 utan a SZU Terhivatalaban dolgozott. 1937-ben letartoztattak
es 1939-ben megoltek.

Tamadas egy ellen tamadas mindenki ellen
Ismert ez a NATO cikkely, ilyen egyszeru szokimondason alapul a 
katonai garancia - amit most a Nyugat oly gyonyoruen MEGTAGA-
DOTT mind Magyarorszagtol, mind Ukrajnatol.  Amely 
"Bekepartnerseg a Mi Korunkban" klasszikus appeasement-tel ezeket 
a tersegeket gyakorlatilag politikai vakuumnak nyilvanitotta - "aki 
kapja marja" (illetve aki most elmarja az fogja megkapni).  Ukrajna
vakuumjaba be is fog szippantodni, pillanatok alatt, az Orosz 
ujbirodalmi hatalom, a kerdes csakis az, hogy hova NEM FOG?

jon, ahhoz elobb meg kell nezni, hogy spontan europai eroegyensuly

Mar szinte latszik, ahogy a ket haver, Zsiri es Szaddam, valamint az

"In spite of the aggravation of the situation [June 26,1941] in Hungary,
illigal border crossings did not cease.  In the spring of 1942, with the
liquidation of the Polish ghettos but mainly as a result of the mass
deportations of the Jews of Slovakia, the stream of refugees increased.
It is estimated that more than 10,000 Slovak Jews crossed the border into
Hungary during 1942. ... Many of the Slovak refugees spoke Hungarian and
had family and friendly ties with Hungarian Jews but, in spite of this,
they met with difficulties.  The local Jews, afraid of being punished by
authorities, hesitated to take them in.  p.532.  Only a relatively small
group came to the refugees' assistance and gave money to help them - most
of these were Zionists or members of the Orthodox Community.  The
indifference of Hungarian Jews to their fate caused great bitterness among
the refugees.        Gisi Fleishman, who knew the Hungarian Jewish
community well, complained bitterly that "they do not know what Jewish or
social solidarity is, and they are not even blessed with charitable
hearts."

arrival in the Hungarian capital one of the girls wrote:
'Immediately on our arrival to Budapest [1943] we began to look for Yoel
Brand in the synagogues of the Jewish Quarter.  How amazed we were to see
Jews, dressed in holiday clothes, - crowds of them - praying undisturbed. 
This was a sight we had long forgotten (for Poland had been 'judenrein'
for a long time).  In Dohany Street, where the great synagogue is,
Hungarian policemen in white gloves were directing the traffic.  Our
feeling was that the war had not yet reached Hungary and the people,
including the Jews, did not even want to know about it.  After hours of
searching we eventually found Yoel and he gave us actually the first
smile.'"

considerable number continued to live in hiding in the Hungarian capital
until the liberation.  Their struggle  for survival during the months of

but also to appease the National Socialists at home and abroad.  As a
result of these policies, the Jews of Hungary were exposed to great
economic pressure and hardship and subjected to cruel and humiliating
system of discrimination.  NEVERTHELESS, they were able to survive in

"The extermination of the Jews deported from Hungary was carried out
during August 27-28.  According to an eyewitness account, the deportees
were told that in view of a decision to clear Kamenets Podolsk of Jews
they would have to be re-located.  They were surrounded by units of the
SS, their Ukrainan hirelings, and Hungarian sappers' platoon, and,
together with the indigenous Jews of Kamenets Podolsk, were compelled to
march about ten miles to a series of craters created by bombings.*  There
they were ordered to undress and brought into the crossfire of
machine-guns.  Many of them were actually burried alive."                 
*  'Interestingly enough, while Hungarian sappers, probably of Swabian   
  background, participated in the massacres at K-P, other Hungarian units
were reported to have actually intervened on behalf of the persecuted Jews
of Galicia and the Ukraine.'

"The gruesome accounts of the atrocities perpetrated by Hungarian soldiers
[Delvidek] and gerdarmes on the orders of high-ranking officiers, most of
whom were of Swabian-German background, enraged most liberal-minded
Hungarians."

"Aside from the atrocities against the tens of thousands of Jews in
Hungarian labor battalions on the Ukrainian front, the Kamenets Podolsk
and the Delvidek massacres were the two anti-Jewish mass 'actions'
initiated by the Hungarians prior to the country's occupation by the
Germans on March 19,1944.  Although grossly discriminated against and
compelled to live under deplorable socio-economic conditions, the Jews of
Hungary continued until that date to enjoy the protection of the Hungarian
State.  In fact, the Kallay Government (March 9, 1942-March 19,1944)
consistently rejected the German demands for the deportation of the Jews
and continued to provide haven to close to one million indigenous and
foreign Jews."

zsidosag martirjait!

Horthyt, es a magyarsagot, a haboru utan Magyarorszagot gyarmati sorsban 
tarto kommunistak, azok kiszolgaloi es egyes vilaghatalomra torekvo csoportok 
berhazugjai (ujsagirok, torteneszek stb.), az akkori vilaghatalmi valosagot 
szinte teljesen elvetve feketebbre festettek az ordognel is, ezzel bizonyitvan 
lopott orszaglasuk.  Negyven eves uralmuk alatt ez volt a "magyar tortenelem", 
igy tartottak a magyarsagot a bunossegi komplexus ordogi beklyojaban.
